ICARE National Resource Hub

A curated national directory for employers, HR leaders, professionals, peers and families: workplace and recovery resources, employment law, and a state-by-state directory of recovery friendly workplace programs and credentialing boards.

How to use this hub. Search by keyword, or filter by collection, topic and language. Every link opens on the publishing organization’s own site. ICARE curates these resources for education and training; we do not author them, and listing a resource is not medical, clinical or legal advice. Employment law and clinical guidance change, so confirm current law and current protocols before relying on any item in practice.
State directory. For each state we list the recovery friendly workplace program, where one exists, and the board that credentials peer recovery specialists and addiction professionals. Where we could not verify a statewide program, the entry says so rather than guessing. Naloxone access, Good Samaritan and harm reduction laws are tracked nationally in the Law and Policy collection, which covers all 50 states in a single survey.
