ENDORSEMENTS

I highly recommend the program. Especially if you are in a corporate setting or your clients come from the corporate space. The time is now to bring awareness into the workplace. While folks were struggling before the pandemic, the pandemic has created so many more issues with substance use disorders and mental health wellbeing. This program helps with communicating information and proper resources.

Dana Piscopo

Director, Sales and Operations, Oracle

The CFAA-HR Program is an excellent opportunity for Human Resources Professionals to foster an inclusive and engaged workforce by developing and implementing a safe workplace environment that supports people in recovery. I recommend that ALL HR Professionals participate in this type of training to help and support their workforce efforts on sobriety. In addition to building a network of other HR professionals to share Best Practices, this program encouraged and assisted my efforts to develop a program for my company.”

Having observed my employees complete the Healthy Self Checkup has helped me discover a need in the company and the fact that when people feel supported and not judged, they open up and accept help. On the other hand, I also learned that a person needs to be open minded and ready.

Nayda I. Hernández MS, SHRM-CP

Human Resources Manager, PRIME Construction Group, INC.

The CFAA-HR class is long overdue in my opinion. “Whether personal or professionally, I have witnessed the ravages of substance use disorder and felt the helplessness of parents, managers, and HR professionals alike. Everyone needs to be much more aware of mental health issues, including SUD, and the various signs of how these disorders can display in the workplace or homelife. Recognizing the signs, and engaging the individual without shame or fear of reprisal is key in making sure more individuals know they have options for recovery. As well as ensure that others do not succumb to this illness.”

Tisha Webber, SPHR, SHRM-CP

HR Director, Nash Plumbing & Mechanical

Compliments the Skillset of any HR Professional.
“The CFAA-HR Program was informative, insightful, and thought provoking. The instructors, who were all subject matter experts in their field, presented participants with a wide range of knowledge in addiction and recovery awareness which compliments the skillset of any HR professional.
Because the training was delivered in such an open and honest manner, it allowed free-flowing dialog to be shared amongst the group.”

Pam Russell SHRM-CP, IPMA-SCP

Director, Human Resources, City of Winter Park
