Jody Ventura Certified Professional Life & Recovery Coach/ Trauma-Informed Coach

Jody Ventura is a Certified Recovery and Life Coach, Trauma-Informed Coach, and the founder of The Sobriety Shift, which she started in 2019. Jody has been sober since October 2015 & has coached for over 2,000 hours, guiding individuals through their sobriety journeys: getting sober, staying sober, and embracing empowered sobriety. Her mission is to help people become their best selves, confidently pursue their dreams, and create a life that’s bigger than the bottle.

Jody has also worked as a flight attendant for over 10 years, giving her unique insight into the challenges of careers with unpredictable schedules and time away from home. As a flight attendant, Jody understands the unique challenges of maintaining sobriety in a career often associated with drinking, the lifestyle of being away from home so often, missing holidays, weird sleep schedules, working weekends, and dealing with the stressors of the job. She knows firsthand how to overcome these obstacles and believes it is possible to not only survive but thrive and feel empowered in both our jobs and lives as sober individuals.

Since 2017, she has served as the co-chair of her airline’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), where she helps flight attendants manage their mental and emotional health, access treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues, and transition back into their jobs after treatment.

Jody also co-chairs the San Francisco base’s Critical Incident Response Program, supporting flight attendants who encounter critical incidents on the job, such as deaths onboard, severe medical situations, plane crashes, engine failures, and severe turbulence. She assists them in recovering from these traumatic incidents and transitioning back to work.

Jody encourages her clients to see their sobriety as a strength and honor, helping them to redefine their identities and embrace their empowered, alcohol-free lives!

Dillon Reed Certified Professional Recovery Coach
Dillon Reed is a Certified Professional Recovery Coach who specializes in alcohol addiction. With firsthand knowledge of the trials and tribulations involved on the road to sobriety, Dillon leverages his personal experiences and professional training to guide his clients to lasting recovery. Growing up, Dillon witnessed the impact of addiction and mental health struggles on those close to him. Eventually, the struggles he grew up witnessing became struggles of his own. After nearly a decade, he was able to get sober in February 2020. His commitment to personal development and recovery inspired him to pursue a career in coaching, allowing the thing that was once his greatest weakness to help create strength and provide guidance for others. Certified as a Professional Coach (CPC) and a Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC) through the International Association of Professional Recovery Coaches (IAPRC) and NET Institute, his coaching philosophy centers on the belief that the client already possesses the knowledge to change their lives; they need the support to overcome the action threshold. Taking a science-based approach founded on the transtheoretical model and utilizing positive psychology and motivational interviewing, Dillon employs a childlike curiosity in his sessions, asking powerful questions to help clients uncover their solutions and take consistent action toward their goals. Dillon has been featured on podcasts to share his expertise, exploring topics such as substance use disorders, mental health, wellness, communication, relationships, and personal development. Beyond his professional qualifications, Dillon is a devoted husband and father with a strong commitment to family and personal growth. He values authenticity, determination, and meaningful work and strives to leave the world better than he found it.

Sarah Sandidge
Certified Professional Life & Recovery Coach

Sarah has always been a dreamer. Getting lost in her head or in a good book was the highlight of her youth. She loved learning and pursued degrees and careers in teaching English. Once kids came along, she became a stay-at-home mom, occasionally taking on contract editing work and writing to keep one foot in the business world. Feeling a bit lost and purposeless, she started to find escape not in her beloved books, but in alcohol. They call it a progressive disease for a reason, and she quickly found alcohol was controlling her life and calling all the shots. Ironically, Sarah also loves nutrition and listening to the body to discover what it needs. However, alcohol had the loudest voice for many years. When she found herself without the ability to think basic thoughts or complete basic household tasks because alcohol had destroyed her health, she knew something had to change. Finding freedom from alcohol is the best decision Sarah ever made for her health and her life. After getting her brain and health back, she knew she had to help others do the same. She returned to the classroom again to receive certification in Life and Recovery Coaching. Through her coaching sessions, she helps clients find freedom from addiction, dream big, remember who they are, rediscover their passions and purpose, and take clear steps to move into the next phase of their lives. She can’t wait to connect with you!
Brian Klink Certified Corporate Recovery Coach and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner

As an Air Force Academy graduate, former Air Force pilot, and airline pilot manager, Brian is well-acquainted with the pressures and stresses of a high-stakes organizational or corporate career.

Addicted to achievement and recognition, Brian’s 500 mile per hour lifestyle rapidly became exhausting and unsustainable. The need to escape from life’s stresses ultimately led to his own challenges with binge drinking, unhealthy eating, and finally divorce.

Fortunately, he recognized the need to slow down and look within. The discoveries he made while working with a trusted professional were so profound that he voluntarily left behind a successful and lucrative 30-year pilot career in order to work with others looking for similar change.

Brian is a Certified Corporate Recovery Coach and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, which enables him to work with the trauma that often underlies addiction and compulsive behavior.

Brian understands the pressure to appear happy, capable, and productive when your personal life feels chaotic, and he masterfully creates a safe space for you to let your guard down and be yourself. Brian will partner with you to establish a plan of action to regain stability and balance in your life.

Within a caring and collaborative partnership, Brian is adept at drawing your inner wisdom to the surface. Recognizing that learning to access and trust your inner wisdom can feel uncomfortable at first, Brian will thoughtfully walk with you through this process and help you realize the transformation you are looking for.

In the busy workplace, it can be difficult to feel seen and heard. You need an ally who listens, connects, and sees the real you. As your trusted ally, Brian will help you rediscover your values and strengths – those traits that got you where you are today – and guide you to apply them to the current challenge.

With the hectic pace of corporate life, just trying to keep up can feel overwhelming. Why not take just a little time for yourself to come back into alignment? Find the balance that allows you to be your best self – you’re worth it.

Eric Rocher
Certified Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC)

Born and raised in Normandie, France, Eric moved to the U.S at age 24. His love for food and nature led him to work as a commercial beekeeper as well as a professional baker and pastry chef in some acclaimed restaurants and bakeries around the Bay Area. In 2022 Eric signed up with the International Association of Recovery Coaches and discovered first hand the power of coaching to move towards one’s goals and vision. As a certified Professional Recovery Coach, Eric partners with clients who want to live their best life away from the very behaviors, substances and self-defeating stories that have kept them alienated. Eric understands first hand the challenges and suffering that come with addiction from his own lived experience with it. He has walked the long walk of isolation, unmanageability, and shame. He understands the feeling of losing connection with yourself and the people you love. He also knows recovery is possible and that a joyful, meaningful life awaits those ready to dive in and seek support. With Eric’s gentle and compassionate nature, he aims to cocreate a nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore their visions and dreams, as well as their limiting beliefs and blocks, without guilt or fear. Eric truly believes recovery is more than abstinence. It is the opportunity to carve a life of higher caliber: a life that includes physical wellness, spiritual growth and a sense of purpose and belonging. If you are wondering what is getting in the way of you living a life of abundance; if you are curious or concerned about how you cope with stress, loneliness, anger, leaning on behaviors and substances that leave you feel empty and defeated; if you think there is more for you but you are not sure what, Recovery Coaching could be a powerful step toward this life you are meant to live! If you live a sober life or if you are sober-curious, Recovery Coaching can offer great support to sustain you on your journey and strengthen and broaden your vision of what is possible! We all have dreams, we all have special gifts, and we all are here to share these with the world as we free ourselves and live in our purpose.
